Social Media Club Melbourne Emergency Services presentation Wednesday 13th August 2014

THE PANEL

On the back of its success, he produced and delivered a digital internal communications platform across Westpac Bank’s Intranet. A former independent television Producer/Director, Mark is currently generating the strategic direction of social media for Victoria Police as Manager of Online Communications.

Stefan Delatovic
Manager of Emergency Management Communications -Victoria State Emergency Service (SES)

Stefan Delatovic is the Manager of Emergency Management Communications at Victoria State Emergency Service (SES). He works to help Victorians prepare themselves for the threat of flood, storm, earthquake and tsunami using good, strategic communications. To do this he and his team of all stars use a range of tools including social media, media campaigns and warnings, as well as publicising the excellent work of SES’ 4,500-odd volunteers.

Before working at SES, Stefan was a print journalist and editor for more than a decade, working for Fairfax in Dandenong and the Barrier Daily Truth newspaper in Broken Hill, where he grew up. He is also a podcaster, writer and comic book nerd. You can find him on twitter @stefandelatovic
